Make a Bee Line for Afternoon Tea
We are bringing together our favourite things this summer as we collaborate with Nyetimber and launch a seasonal Nyetimber Wildflower Afternoon Tea.
As well as being totally delicious, The Nyetimber Wildflower Afternoon Tea has been created to support South Downs National Park’s Bee Lines campaign. A campaign to help pollinators who are on the decline and in need of our support by creating wildflower corridors across the South Downs. For every Nyetimber Wildflower Afternoon Tea purchased, £5 will be donated to the Bee Lines project.
Running until the end of August the afternoon tea includes finger sandwiches, home baked patisseries and will be paired with a glass of Nyetimber Classic Cuvee MV and a glass of Nyetimber Cuvee Chérie Demi-Sec. The menu has a nod to pollinators and will include honey glazed goat cheese on brioche, hand cut honey roasted ham & tomato sandwiches, along with honeybee Battenburg, a honeycomb chocolate bar and honeyed oat biscuits.
Guests at the House can enjoy afternoon tea on one of our terraces overlooking the colourful and richly planted gardens, grass tennis courts and croquet lawn. As a wet weather contingency cosy up in one of our lounges or conservatory for an equally beautiful outlook over the grounds and wider West Sussex countryside.
Our Nyetimber Wildflower Afternoon Tea, priced at £50 per person, is available daily and can be booked on 01730 819000.
