From overnight stays and spa access to weddings, corporate events and dining, we’ve gathered the most frequently asked questions in one place. We hope this page provides clarity and reassurance, whatever brings you to us.

i.  Reservation & Bookings

Check in is guaranteed from 3pm. Check out is 11am on day of departure.

We offer a 48-hour cancellation policy on single room reservations. Group bookings are by prior arrangement.

We do not require a deposit for individual reservations. Group reservations of 5 rooms or more require a 50% deposit at time of booking.

Guests can book multiple rooms and link them to one reservation.

We have a two-night minimum stay at weekends during high season.

Initial reservation enquiries can be made via email or telephone. However, it is best to telephone to confirm as card details are required.

ii. Rooms & Accommodation

We have various room categories from Standard, Superior, Master, Family Suite and Cottages. They vary in size and location within the hotel.

We offer still and sparkling waters and tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits in all rooms. There are no fridges in the rooms, but fresh milk is available upon request.

We do not have air-conditioning in the rooms, but each room has a portable fan.

Room 1, a Master room is accessible for guests with mobility needs.

Yes, you can request specific rooms.

Rooms are not equipped with fridges or minibars. But room service is available.

Most of our Superior, Master and family room categories and cottages are double or can twin upon request.

Z-beds and cots can be provided for children in most of our larger rooms.

Apart from Orchard Cottage all our bedrooms have separate walk-in showers.

All of our rooms have baths except for the Loft and Room 20.

We do not have a lift in the main house. We do have a lift in South Downs, our adjacent building and the spa.

iii. Facilities

The spa and pools are open from 7am to 9pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 8pm Saturday and Sunday. Family use of the pool is between 9am to 10.30am and 3pm to 4.30pm daily.

Spa and pool access are included in our hotel rates, but treatments are charged accordingly.

Children are allowed to use the pool between 9am to 10.30am and 3pm to 4.30pm daily. They are not permitted to use the gym, jacuzzi, steam room or sauna.

Gym use is included in our hotel rates.

We recommend booking our grass tennis courts. All the other grass facilities do not need to be booked.

We offer free parking on site.

Yes, luggage can be stored before check-in or after check-out.

We offer disabled parking, wheelchair access and accessibility toilets at the hotel and spa. There is a lift at the spa. We have a ground floor room with an accessible bathroom suite.

We have a boardroom with power outlets.

Our outdoor swimming pool is available during all weathers. Our grass facilities are weather dependent.

iv. Food & Drink

Breakfast is served between 8am to 10.30am. Our all-day menu is served from 12-noon to 9pm. The a la carte menu is served from 6.30pm to 9pm. Sunday roast is served from 12.30pm to 3pm. Afternoon tea is served from 1pm to 5.30pm.

Yes, we cater for dietary requirements. Please let us know at time of booking.

We have a full wine list and beverage menu in the hotel and on-line.

Yes, we offer a children’s menu.

We advise pre-booking for afternoon. As a classic English tradition, this menu is unavailable to be adapted to any dietary needs & is unsuitable for any guests whom have either a Lactose or Gluten intolerance.

v. Location & Logistics

Trains from Waterloo go to Haslemere and Petersfield, where taxi ranks are available.

We can recommend local taxi services for airport transfers.

Midhurst centre is approximately 2 miles away. Our nearest pub is approximately 2 miles away.

vi. Spa & Wellness

Yes, our spa menu with prices and duration is available on-line and at the spa reception.

Spa treatments are not included in our hotel rate, but bookable separately.

We advise booking spa treatments when booking your hotel room.

Spa members are issued with 4 guest passes a year for non-residents.

Spa access is available to hotel residents and spa members. It is not available to guests booking lunch or dinner.

Saunas and steam rooms are located within our changing rooms and as such are gender segregated.

Under 17-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult during treatments and whilst using the swimming pools.

Yes, there is a 48-hour cancellation policy on spa treatments.

Yes towels and robes are provided.

8.15pm Monday to Friday 7.15pm Saturday and Sunday.

No, they are not refundable, but they are transferable if changed 48 hours prior to arrival.

The spa facilities are available to Hotel Guests, Spa Members and Spa Day Guests.

vii. Family & Pet Policies

Yes, children are welcome at Park House Hotel.

There are no age restrictions in the restaurant. Children under 17 must be accompanied during treatments at the spa. Children under 16 may use the pools between 9am and 10.30am and 3pm to 4.30pm daily, accompanied by an adult. Children under 16 are not permitted to use the gym, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.

Pets are allowed in the hotel bar area and on our bar terrace. We offer a dog-friendly room, and our cottages are dog-friendly.

Yes, we provide cots and highchairs. Sterilizers can be plugged into the rooms or looked after by the waiting staff.

We do not offer a childcare or babysitting service but can recommend local numbers.

viii. Safety & Policies

We follow government guidelines for safety and hygiene measures and are regularly checked.

Smoking is prohibited within the hotel and spa. We have designated smoking areas outside. A £200 fine is applicable for anyone caught smoking in our hotel bedrooms.

We have fire alarms throughout our hotel and spa which are checked regularly.

ix. General Questions

We have beautiful grass facilities unlike other hotels in our immediate area.

Where possible we offer returning guests a complimentary upgrade.

Yes, our prices include VAT.

x. Weddings
