Park House’s new Game, Set and Match is the perfect way to enjoy some time with much missed family and friends this summer with guests able to enjoy games and activities on the hotel’s immaculate lawns including tennis, golf and croquet, and the table set for afternoon tea or lunch with a wine pairing to match.
Lunch or afternoon tea can be enjoyed either inside the House or on the outdoor terrace, the ideal location to enjoy Park House’s tranquil West Sussex setting and country air. Showcasing locally sourced ingredients from British artisans and makers, the lunch menu boasts dishes from classic fish, chips and mushy peas to freshly made sandwiches and soup of the day, as well as decadent desserts.
All the favourites are included for afternoon tea, with scones, clotted cream and jam as well as sandwiches, savoury treats and a selection of cakes, washed down with a variety of tea and infusion options – or a glass of champagne, for the ultimate leisurely afternoon.
Kids can play while the adults relax and dine, or a family tournament can take place on the House’s expansive lawns with a game of croquet, as well as the option to use the tennis courts and 6-hole golf course.
Stuart Brown, Operations Manager at Park House, says: “There are few better ways to while away a summer day than gathering together for some dining and outdoor games, especially against the backdrop of the Sussex countryside! We’re looking forward to welcoming our guests back, and maximising the use of our leisure facilities and beautiful setting is the ideal way to do so after the difficulties we’ve all faced living through a pandemic.”
